About Katie Clark

Katie Clark is the owner and founder of Clark Legal Recruiting.  Katie 

graduated from The University of Dayton School of Law in 2000.  Katie also attended the University of Detroit Mercy where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Summa Cum Laude.  Katie has been working as a Legal Recruiter in the Detroit metro area since 2002.  Katie's past includes working for national legal staffing agencies where she recruited both contract and direct hire attorneys as well as legal support staff personnel in the Metro Detroit area.  Additionally, Katie worked as a legal staffing consultant for one of the largest international technology corporations where she assisted with their corporate in-house hiring needs as a means to further build their legal department in order to ultimately cut outside counsel costs.  

Katie currently specializes in the direct hire / permanent recruiting of attorneys and paralegals in the Michigan market.  Katie partners with law firms and corporate legal departments that have staffing needs.  Katie's niche is to work with legal professionals and assist them with their job searching efforts.  Katie acts as a resource to both active and passive candidates.  Katie also serves as an outlet to hiring managers that need to identify top legal talent for a well-defined specialized area of the law.  Katie is well versed at assisting both employers and candidates to find the right "fit" for the job at hand.
